Welcome to Oak Valley School

Oak Valley School is located approximately 15 miles from Philadelphia within the suburban community of Wenonah, New Jersey.   Like the beautiful oak trees that surround our school, Oak Valley has grown over the past 50 years. Originally built in 1955 with only four rooms, Oak Valley currently serves the needs of its community through a comprehensive grades 2-6 curriculum designed to serve the diverse needs of its learners.

Our elementary program has a progressive curriculum that is presently being aligned with New Jersey Core Content Standards. Materials and instruction provide students with a strong knowledge base, technological literacy, and the critical thinking skills they will need in middle school, high school, and beyond.

Chain of Command Information.

Dear Deptford Family,

One of the top goals of Deptford School District administration is to provide open and transparent lines of communication with all district stakeholders.

As there have been some changes in our district administrative positions, we would like to provide everyone with an updated Chain of Command chart.  If at any time you have a question, concern, or compliment to share, we ask that you please contact the first appropriate person within the chain.  In doing so, we can meet your needs in an efficient and professional manner.

We thank you in advance for your kind adherence to this policy and we look forward to working together to provide the best possible education for our scholars.

Sincerely,

Arthur E. Dietz
Superintendent of Schools
