Welcome to Oak Valley School

Oak Valley School is located approximately 15 miles from Philadelphia within the suburban community of Wenonah, New Jersey.   Like the beautiful oak trees that surround our school, Oak Valley has grown over the past 50 years. Originally built in 1955 with only four rooms, Oak Valley currently serves the needs of its community through a comprehensive grades 2-6 curriculum designed to serve the diverse needs of its learners.

Our elementary program has a progressive curriculum that is presently being aligned with New Jersey Core Content Standards. Materials and instruction provide students with a strong knowledge base, technological literacy, and the critical thinking skills they will need in middle school, high school, and beyond.

Moving on to Middle School

 Get To Know MMS!

untitled

Each year the faculty at MMS works hard to prepare for our incoming students.  We have created three unique events to help you learn more about your new school and feel comfortable with the transition from elementary to middle school.  Please make every attempt to come out, learn something new, and meet some new peers!

-At 6 pm on February 15, 2017 MMS faculty is hosting an information session for prospective students and their parents to come hear about the many wonderful academic and extra curricular programs offered at the middle school.

-All Sixth Grade students will be attending an open house on Friday, May 26, 2017 to learn more about the programs offered and to tour the facilities.

-On Wednesday, August 31, 2017 from 4 – 6 pm MMS will have an open house for students and parents to reacquaint themselves with the facilities and staff, get class schedules and locker assignments, and have any final middle school questions answered.
