Mr. Michael Nicely
Assistant Director of Special Education and Special Programs
Mr. Michael Nicely is the Assistant Director of Special Education. His responsibilities include many for the district: Principal of the New Sharon School, 504 coordinator, homeless liaison, APA supervisor, and closely communicates with the curriculum department for special education.
Mr. Nicely is a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West in Cherry Hill, NJ. He then went on to King’s College and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Mr. Nicely received a Masters in Educational Leadership from Fairleigh Dickinson University. For the past seven years, he was a special education teacher at Monongahela Middle School. Mr. Nicely’s passion is working with others and helping everyone reach their maximum potential. He is very excited to help make Deptford the best that it can be by working and communicating with all parents, teachers, students, and stakeholders.
